"Baltimore's Foundations and Corporations Respond Quickly with Dollars for Disaster Relief in Gulf Region"
Moved by Hurricane Katrina's devastation of the Gulf Coast, Baltimore's foundations and corporations have quickly offered to direct financial support to the region. Many have committed their own charitable dollars while establishing ways for citizens and employees to donate as well.

"Community Leaders Coordinate Relief Efforts"
Area community leaders kicked off one of the largest relief efforts they've ever attempted. Baltimore leaders have already collected millions of dollars and the city has deployed convoys of equipment and personnel to the Gulf Coast - WBAL TV 11 News, September 6, 2005

Did You Know?

You can quickly, easily and safely give to a number of Hurricane Katrina disaster relief organizations that are receiving online donations. For information on how and where to give online, as well as how to ensure online safety when donating, visit Network For Good.

A variety of government and private agencies are assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is urging those who wish to help victims to make cash contributions to
