Workforce Development Affinity Group
ABAG members represent diverse funding types and diverse funding interests, and our affinity groups allow members with common interests to learn and share together. Volunteer chairs and steering committees lead each affinity group, and ABAG helps to develop educational programs and facilitate communication among members. All ABAG members are invited to participate in the affinity group educational programming.

Affinity Group on Aging
The Affinity Group on Aging is a collective group of funders dedicated to promoting and strengthening grantmaking for an aging society.

Substance Abuse Treatment Affinity Group
This group provides an opportunity for grantmakers to stay informed on the latest research-based information, learn about new and existing programs in our region, understand effective practice and become familiar with current grantmaking strategies.

Baltimore Neighborhood Collaborative
The Baltimore Neighborhood Collaborative (BNC) was founded as a funders' collaborative in 1995 by representatives of local philanthropic, business and civic organizations to support the revitalization and stabilization of neighborhoods in Baltimore.

Basic Human Needs Affinity Group
This group seeks to raise awareness about critical human service needs, to share information about new and current strategies to keep vulnerable residents from falling into crisis, and to foster the coordination of services among providers.

Business Giving Roundtable
This roundtable provides a venue for corporate grantmakers to exchange ideas and share their unique processes, from online grant applications to strategic planning - a network of peers to be called upon as an invaluable resource.

Education Affinity Group
This group was created to help those who are interested in supporting education learn more about worthy initiatives, educational research findings and best practices.

Green Funders Affinity Group
This group explores ways that funders can work together to advance the goal of supporting the natural environment for present and future generations.

Family Philanthropy Roundtable
The Family Philanthropy Roundtable provides an opportunity for family foundation trustees and board members to talk with each other about the joys and challenges of family philanthropy and share expertise, experiences, questions, and concerns with others in similar situations.

Maryland Community Foundation Association (MCFA)
The Maryland Community Foundation Association(MCFA)is an effort housed at ABAG to strengthen and enhance the presence of Maryland's 13 Community Foundations.

Supporting Public Schools of Choice
Supporting Public Schools of Choice (SPSC) is an independent nonpartisan project in support of charter and innovation high schools in Baltimore. Charter and innovation schools are public schools run through the Baltimore City Public School System. SPSC works in collaboration with the school system to advocate on behalf of these schools and to provide technical assistance.

Workforce Development Affinity Group
This group shares information, learns best practices and considers joint grantmaking opportunities in the future.
