The Vision of the ABAG Disaster Preparedness Task Force is that the Baltimore region has adequate entities addressing disaster preparation and response. The Task Force is an ongoing ABAG effort and all members are invited to attend.
The Task Force goals include:
1) To prepare the philanthropic community, as individual organizations and a collective body, in the event of a Baltimore-area disaster.
2) To make certain that area public and nonprofit entities are adequately prepared.
3) To set up a network of communications enabling grantmakers to fulfill our own role in the event of a disaster.
